Privacy Policy

LinkedOS (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides a business operating system for LinkedIn professionals, including a web application and a Chrome browser extension. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
What We Collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name and email address (via email/password or Google sign-in).
Data you enter into LinkedOS. This includes prospects, inbound leads, content posts, client information, notes, and activity logs that you create while using the app. This data belongs to you and is used solely to provide the service to you.
Chrome extension data. When you use the LinkedOS Chrome extension on a LinkedIn profile page, the extension reads publicly visible profile information already displayed on that page — name, headline, company, location, profile photo, and about section. This data is only sent to LinkedOS when you actively click “Save to Pipeline.” The extension does not run in the background, does not collect data automatically, and does not access any LinkedIn page other than the profile you are currently viewing.
Connection token. The extension stores a connection token locally in your browser (via Chrome’s storage API) to authenticate your saves to your LinkedOS account. This token is not shared with any third party.
What We Don’t Collect
We do not collect your LinkedIn password or login credentials. We do not scrape LinkedIn in bulk. We do not message, connect with, or take any action on LinkedIn on your behalf. We do not sell your data or any prospect/client data to third parties, ever.
How We Use Your Data
To provide and operate the LinkedOS service. To send you transactional emails (client approval notifications, your daily follow-up digest, if enabled). To generate reports and analytics within your own workspace. We do not use your data to train AI models, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Client Portal Data
If you use LinkedOS to manage clients, each client is given a private, tokenized link to review their content calendar. Clients cannot see other clients’ data — each portal link is scoped to that specific client only.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored with Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row-Level Security, meaning your workspace’s data is isolated from other workspaces at the database level. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate LinkedOS, each of which may process data on our behalf: Supabase (database & authentication), Vercel (hosting), Resend (transactional email delivery). Each of these providers has their own privacy practices governing infrastructure-level data handling.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at abdullahamir2308@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Your Rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time through the app, or by contacting us directly.
Chrome Extension Permissions
The LinkedOS extension requests the following browser permissions, used only as described:
- storage — to save your connection token locally
- activeTab — to detect when you’re viewing a LinkedIn profile page
- Host access to linkedin.com/in/* — to read visible profile information and display the “Add to LinkedOS” button
- Host access to linkedos.vercel.app — to send data you choose to save to your own account
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as LinkedOS evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
